School children, college students, the military overseas and Governors or their representatives from every state recite the Preamble simultaneously on Constitution Day. National figures who have led the Preamble are Congressman David Dreier (1997-1999), President George H.W. Bush (2000), U S Supreme Court Associate Justice Anthony Kennedy (2001), Chief Justice Roy Moore Alabama Supreme Court (2002), Governor Edward Rendell (2003), General Tommy Franks (2005), and General Colin Powell (2006). General Colin Powell will lead the nation again this year. It will be dedicated to our military around the world. Join in this salute on Monday, September 17 at 2:00 p.m.
